"Early Summer Joy"
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, each Season propels us to the next. Early Summer is here, so it's time to start planning more activities in the warmer weather and longer days to play. Suppose we rested enough in the winter and planted seeds of inspiration in the spring. In that case, early summer is about taking inventory of our bodies as we add more outdoor activities. Early Summer is the Fire element that affects the heart and small intestines. Summer is the time to activate your digestive fire and burn off the stored energy from winter. Nature is on your side to safely add more activity for the warmer weather and longer days of sunlight. The extra light brings us joy and helps us feel inspired.
In this early summer session, I teach how to move physically through early summer, the energetic principles of seeing a pattern, and how to cultivate how everything ties in and flows together. The focus will be on the organs of the heart and small intestines and their functions from a Western and Eastern perspective. Qigong is about learning skillful means to map out the development of your body, mind, soul, and energy at every stage and season of your life.
Join me for this new platform I am offering. Each session will last four weeks and be one and a half hours long on Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. EST. I'll begin with an informative discussion focusing on the elements of our particular season, followed by a physical practice to support the two organs of the heart and small intestines. All classes will end with a deep relaxation/meditation. This is a whole-body experience that addresses your full scope of health.
You will also receive a recording of the entire class and a 15-minute recording of a shorter version of the key topic. Both can be practiced to fit your needs and keep your practice active.
Once registered, more online information will be sent.
