ABOUT QIGONG

Qigong (energy cultivation) is based on ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine, which taps into our bodies' rich storehouse of natural wisdom. Qi means energy; Gong means cultivation of energy. Everything is energy, and energy wants to move, and it has to move. Though qigong is an ancient Chinese practice, we can quickly adapt it to any culture because energy (Qi) is universal. It's what everything is made of.

Qigong describes health as a balance of energy flow. Disruptions in the body's energy occur throughout our lifetime due to poor diet, stress, sedentary lifestyle, injuries, surgery, and aging. When a person is healthy, Qi flows smoothly throughout the body.

Einstein discovered E = Mc2, relating mass and energy. Einstein said: "Everything is energy, and that's all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics." It is an understanding of how energy moves through form. We are the form, and qigong is the principle of how energy moves through us and around us. It brings us to a higher conscience to experience life fully. Humans can get stuck at lower energy levels and forget we are these powerful forces of nature.

If you look closely, all Divine creations contributed to our existence. We are extraordinary beings from our minutia to vastness, universes within universes. We are part of nature; we are nature, and observing what is around us is our teacher of how to coexist in our environment.

Qigong is a physical practice and a way to follow nature's laws. Each season has hidden messages to help us navigate our way. Each season supports the following season. You will find that traveling on this natural path will bring you full circle to growing older with ease and a sense of joy and peace. The simplicity of this practice is what is so beautiful about it. We learn how to flow and grow physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Each lesson in learning Qiong is like building your apothecary table. Rather than pills and potions, we fill them with seasonal and functional movements, effortless flow, dynamic relaxation, breath work, and ways to regulate our energetic anatomy. The gentler, softer movement flow is more than just a workout and will remove stagnation from the tissues, organs, and joints; center and ground your body and bring peace and calm to your inner being. If you want to affect the physical matter that is your body and the invisible matter that is your mind and your soul, the most effective practice you can learn is working with your energy (Qi).
